We are a family Bed and Breakfast in a Victorian terraced house on Coronation Road next to the river Avon, very close to Bristol city centre. We purchased the business in May 2012. The Riverview is a substantial property built in the 1880s. We also run the Glanville Guest House 80 metres away also on Coronation Road.
We pride ourselves on providing clean, comfortable, value for money, budget accommodation close to the city centre. The room facilities are listed on our rooms page.
We provide free WiFi access and a basic self-service complimentary breakfast.
We have a car park for our guests at £5 per day (for 3 days or less) and £2 per day (for more than 3 days). There is a new Residents’ Parking Scheme in force which means you have to pay to park in the streets surrounding the guest house from 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday. You can park for free at the weekend and after 5pm weekdays. *See below for details of restricted parking from 28 March for 4 – 6 weeks.
We cater for a wide variety of people including contractors looking for short or long-term stays, tourists coming to Bristol for a holiday, people visiting friends and family in the area, those heading out for the night in Bristol, people using Bristol airport. The guest house is strictly non-smoking. We do not accept pets.
* Parking is limited from 28 March 2017 for 4-6 weeks as Wessex Water are carrying out emergency works on their site below the car park. This is essential work and cannot be avoided. The health and safety and access issues involved in this may mean there is a delay in accessing your car while the engineers replace the covers on the access way. It may take some time for them to make the entrance/exit accessible.
You must allow yourselves sufficient time to leave/collect your car during this process.
We are working together with Wessex Water to allow the works to be carried out and the car park to continue operating at the same time. I am sorry for the inconvenience this may cause but I am hoping it will be better than closing the car park completely!
